In establishing the organisation here she was emulatin the example fo Mary Sumner, who had started the first Mothers&#8217; Union Branch in 1876 in Winchester, England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2003 Coolcoock Branch joined with us and subsequently in 2018 members from Clontarf Branch became part of our Branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We meet on the first Tuesday of each month, September to May, unless otherwise announced in the All Saints&#8217; Hall. We have church services, various talks, craft days, outings and meals out, plus lots of fun. We also visit other Branches within the Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough. Our projects include-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Christmas Shoe Boxes for Darndale Creche<\/li><li>Knitting for premature babies in our various Maternity Hospitals<\/li><li>Providing our local Woman&#8217;s Refuge with toiletries, toys, ect.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Mothers&#8217; Union is a world wide organisation with about 4 million members.
